Results of Contest  - Favorite Place to Eat in Franklin County 2011

The final results of the Franklin County Retail Merchants Association Contest, “Favorite Place to Eat in Franklin County 2011”, have been tabulated.  The winner, The Hub Restaurant in Rocky Mount, overtook the midway leader, La Trattoria Italian Restaurant in Union Hall, on the final day of collections.   

The remaining participants in order of their finish are El Rodeo, Quizno’s Subs, Fisherman's Galley, Sally’s on 220 South near Henry, A Little Taste of Home at Angle Dining Room, Franklin Restaurant, Penhook Dairy Queen, Seventy Seven Restaurant in Ferrum, Franks Pizza, Dudley's Truck Stop Restaurant, Pyramid Pizza, Hot Shots at Westlake, Daily Grind Coffeehouse, Carl's Place in Penhook, Dudley Mart and Restaurant at Dudley, Glade Hill Minute Market, Pit Stop on 220S at Sydnersville, Dugwell Grill and Grocery, Chillin' Smokes and Deli, Joe's Pizza at Westlake, Whistle Stop at Union Hall, M T Mitchell Store in Sontag, Bowlings Place in Waidsboro, Pizza King, Jonathan's Restaurant in Westlake, Lucky #2 Market, Buzz In Market at Burnt Chimney, Arby’s Roast Beef, and Applebee's Neighborood Grill & Bar.

These businesses, Helping Hands of Franklin County, and FCRMA express their appreciation for all of the customers who made this a successful promotion.  As in the past the donations are divided 50/50 with Helping Hands. 

Hurrays!!! to new businesses participating: Chillin' Smokes and Deli and Pyramid Pizza both on Franklin Street in Rocky Mount.  Ya done good!

Aw shucks!!! to one of our good supporters of these contests...Dugwell Grill and Grocery.  Lou Hall has closed her doors and will be going to work at the Franklin Restaurant.  Good Wishes to her.
